Pre-Course Video Transcript

Hello it's Emma and welcome to Month of Magic. This is a little bit of pre -course content just to kind of get the juices flowing. One of the things that's really important to me for this month is that you have something to create, keep and take away and reuse because we are big believers here in getting more bang for your buck. So every day there's going to be a different topic, every bite size video, will have a little headline, a sort of little reminder of something you're going to learn. In previous years we created jar of hearts and jar of stars.

That was basically a receptacle and every day you get the opportunity to make a little piece of paper, heart, star or whatever we're going to use and just write down the headline of the activity or thing we're going to learn.

You build this up over the month and this month we're going to make a magic box. We're going to make the box of magic. So the first thing to do is look for any receptacle that you've got.

It could be a shoe box, it could be a pre -existing box, like a jewellery box or it'll kind of keep sake box or something like that.

You might have something pre -made or you might want to use something and jazz it up. In previous month of magic, people have added glitter, flowers, ribbon. I think we had tinsel on one.

Whatever it is that says to you, this is going to be special. I'm putting some effort into this. This means something to me. Magic. Magic is all about the feeling I like to call it that kind of follow the fizz follow the excitement so right from the get -go get that receptacle get that box this magical box of creation we're going to build it up during the month and the whole idea of that is later on if you're having a day where you think I know I need some inspiration today you go in the magic box you pick out one of your pieces of paper and it gives you a reminder the group energy here. Find your receptacle, be proud of it, jazz it up, make it special and share it. So that's something to do right at the beginning before you hit day one video.
